Generally there are no charges to cross European ordbers unless you are carrying large amounts of commercial goods, which on a motorcycle is pretty unlikely. As you cross between EU member countries there are minimal border controls, if any, in fact. You may have some passport controls when you enter some of the eastern European countries, but they are usually not too stringent unless you look suspicious. As long as you don’t look shaggy and unkempt, like a Hell’s Angel, you should have no problems. Have a great trip! Sounds great fun. (Oh, you may have to buy a toll sticker for some of the motorways. Check with the individual countries’ tourist information offices to be sure. They all have great tourism Web sites in English.)
