Travel packages

We are thrilled to have all of you travel such great distances to celebrate the four days with us. So to help get the most out of your Hungarian experience, we have been working hard to source out the most memorable and cost efficient activities to include in this package deal for our guests.

The cost is $130 USD per person and payments can be made through Paypal before March 31.

Note that because we’ve set this up as a donation, paypal wouldn’t let us add quantities to the payment. So if you are trying to pay for more than 1 person, you will need to make separate payments for each person.

If you don’t have paypal, you can still make payments on there. After you click the button above, you then click the “continue” button just below the heading “Don’t have a PayPal account?” on the left part of the paypal page. You will then be able to pay with the credit card of your choice.

Here are the travel package details as promised.

Gift registry

Your attendance at our wedding is your gift to us, but if you would like to contribute, we are collecting towards our honeymoon to Hong Kong and New Zealand in the fall of 2012.

Our plan is to visit Jason’s grandparents and family in Hong Kong and Macau on our way to New Zealand, where we will rent a van from Wicked Campers and drive around the and explore the beautiful country. On the way back, we will make a short visit to Australia. Your contributions will be put into good use and we will report back with how it was spent.

Remember that the wedding begins on Thursday afternoon (May 31) with the buses leaving from Budapest at around 2:30pm.

Also note the following holidays around the time of the wedding to consider:

– Monday May 28 is Memorial Day in the US
– Monday May 21 is Victoria Day in Canada

Here are some prices we’ve found to give you an idea on what to look for:
– London to Budapest for £86 one way with British Airways
– Vancouver to Budapest $1100 to $1200 return
– New York to Budapest $900 to $1000 return
– New Orleans to Budapest $1200 to $1300 return
– Europe to Budapest will vary constantly, so use skyscanner to find your best prices

To book flights, we go through the following process in sourcing out the best prices.
